Natural Non Toxic DIY Dryer Sheets

DIY dryer sheets

Have you tried DIY dryer sheets?

I am a huge fan of getting toxins out of your everyday life. That’s why I put together this natural recipe for non toxic DIY dryer sheets. When you make your own cleaners, you know exactly what into it, and what your family is being exposed to. Unnatural fragrance is one of your most common and potentially dangerous chemical exposure. Here’s a way to cut down on the fragrance while keeping your clothes cuddly soft.

Natural Non Toxic DIY Dryer Sheets Recipe

1 Mason Jar, 3 cup size

2 cups water

½ – 1 cup Liquid Dr. Bronner’s Soap

1 – 2 old wash cloths or microfiber towels cut in half
Directions: Mix water and Dr. Bronner’s Soap in Mason Jar. Place lid and shake to mix. Add cut cloths so they can soak in the mixture. When ready to use, take 1 cloth, wring it out, and place in dryer with your wet clothes. Run normal dryer cycle. Once the dryer cycle is complete, place the used cloth back in the jar. Keep jar sealed in between uses.

Want a little more scent to your dryer sheets? Try adding a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil. You can also use one of the scented Dr. Bronner Soaps.

Need a little less static cling? While this dryer sheet should help, I also put wool dryer balls in my dryer to get my clothes dryer quicker, and with less static.
